24-25.10.2016: dr. Simion Nicolaev, dr. Tania Zaharia, dr. Valodia Maximov participated in Bucharest, Romania, to the HIGH-LEVEL CONFERENCE TOWARDS ENHANCED COOPERATION ON BLACK SEA FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE, organized by ther General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM), in collaboration with the Black Sea Commission, Eurofish, ACCOBAMS and BSEC.
The first day was dedicated to the Expert Meeting, in three different panels (1: State of Black Sea living marine resources and their ecosystem; 2: Existing knowledge and efforts towards the assessment and eradication of IUU fishing in the Black Sea; 3: Current state and future perspectives for the responsible development of aquaculture in the Black Sea).
The second day was dedicated to the High-level Conference towards Enhanced Cooperation on Black Sea Fisheries and Aquaculture with the participation of the ministers of agriculture and environment from all Black Sea countries and not only and representatives from EC, BSC, BSEC, ACCOBAMS, Eurofish, etc. At the end of conference was adopted the DECLARATION OF THE HIGHT-LEVEL CONFERENCE TOWARD ENHANCED COOPERATION ON BLACK SEA FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE.
“Defining IUU packages of Black Sea Case Study – turbot fisheries”, was realized the dissemination of MareFrame project and leaflets were distributed to the participants to the events.
